Winston Churchill Double Signed Book 80th Birthday Tribute 1st Edition Cassell

Winston Spencer Churchill - Servant of Crown and Commonwealth- A Tribute for his 80th birthday on 30 November 1954. Tributes included within the book are by:?? Admiral Lord Fraser of North Cape?? Signed by both Churchill and Toni Frissell- the famous American photographer. She was responsible for the portrait of Churchill that features in this book.

Signed by her, both in the printed photo and also by hand on the 1st preliminary free page. Signed by Churchil on the title page. Hardback book with dust jacket and additional outer band. Dust wrapper has original price of 12'6 in tact on inner jacket flap.

1st editions, 1954, published by Cassell & Co Ltd. Hardback book with navy blue boards and gilt lettering to spine. Complete and in good condition, tight and square. Some minor soiling to boards but pages are bright and clean. The dust jacket has a few minor marks and some ever so slight creasing and tiny tears at the top.

The outer band has come away at its perforated edge at the fold between the spine and front flap but all in all in very good condition. Some of the proceeds will be donated to the local hospice and the CRUK charity. All reasonable, but not ridiculous, offers will be replied to.
