William Bliss Pilgrimage of Grace signed first edition hardcover book 1937. The book has been inscribed and signed by the author on the half title page. Pastedowns, endpapers and page edges lightly tanned. There is some damage to the bottom edge of some of the pages as these must have been unopened without due care and attention. 6 cm closed tear to bottom edge of page 133 and 7 cm closed tear to botom edge of page 135 (see photo associated with the listing).

Head and foot of spine of dustjacket chipped and nicked. Spine of dustjacket tanned and dulled. Rear panel of dustjacket lightly tanned.

2 cm closed tear to top edge of front panel of dustjacket. 2 cm closed tear to bottom edge of front panel of dustjacket.
