The handbound label is included to the inside back cover. The book contains the original wrap-around band. The book is encased in a plastic sleeve. The book is inscribed by the author to the inside front page: For Brian Aldiss, a very dear friend and an excellent judge!! This book was a personal copy owned by the author Brian Aldiss OBE, part of his effects at the time of his death on August 19.

This is authenticated by a slip enclosed with the book, signed by the Literary Executor of his estate.
