SIGNED/INSCRIBED on the ffep/first blank page by the great Mario Puzo! Please remember this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing! This is a First American Book Club Edition, (BCE). Once again, this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing! This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear/age, but is still in lovely, Highly Collectible condition! The book appears gently read and other than partially erased pencil marks on the ffep/first blank page, has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!Some general/shelf/age wear along with creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/boards, creases/chipping/wear to the pages and wear to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! As previously mentioned, there is some partially erased pencil marks on the ffep/first blank page, the same page in which the signature/inscription is located. The marks/page was closely photographed for your consideration. Please also note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly near/along the edges, and the creases/chipping/wear that is present on the pages, particularly near/along the edges! The most obvious and egregious wear was closely photographed for your consideration.
The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact but has extensive wear.
The dust jacket has been encased in a brand new, removable, museum quality dust jacket protector. Some general/shelf/age wear along with creases, chipping, rips, scuffing and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book.
