The is due due to the pressure caused by the pen pressing down onto the paper during the signing. This can also be seen on the back of the cover page of the screenplay. When brushing your fingers across each of the signatures on the front and back, one can feel the modest lines made from when the signatures were made. The screenplay is in very good condition with no tears or writing on any of the pages aside from a date scribbled in the top right corner of the cover page (presumably by one of the actors).
It has also been been stored in a protective sleeve to avoid any damage and will be sent in a protective leather cover for ongoing protection.
