Signed Pearl S. Buck Hardcover Book The Child Who Never Grew 1st edition

This is a rare Vintage Pearl S. Buck "The Child Who Never Grew" in vellum Dust Jacket as issued. This is a Signed 1st edition, 3rd impression, published in 1950 by John Day Company, the Company was owned by Pearl Bucks husband and all proceeds of the book were to be donated. The signature is on a plate, affixed on the inside first page. The previous owners name is also inscribed on the same page.

The book itself is in very good condition with only minor issues including foxing, staining, soiling, creasing, chipping and wear, the jacket has yellowing, chipping, creasing, rip's and tears mostly to the edges and spine. It is not often that one comes across such an important signature, especially in a book of this condition. Please see photos for best idea of condition.
