William Avery'Billy' Bishop, V. D was a Canadian fighter pilot who was credited with 72 victories during WW1, a total only beaten by the Red Baron with 82 and Rene Fonck with 75. He went on to have a distinguished career in the RCAF in WW2 and beyond. This first edition of his account of his WW1 service was printed in 1918 and is signed by him.

The book is in very good condition for it's age and is complete with 6 photographic prints. There is a small inscription inside the front cover as shown in the photograph.
