Bookjackets by Alvin Lustig for New Directions Books, published by Gotham Book Mart Press in 1947. A very rare collection of various bookjackets Lustig designed for New Directions over the years, presented in their original sizes, including the spines. Introductions by James Laughlin and Alvin Lustig. Signed by Lustig on the inside of the front cover. This copy previously belonged to Eugene Weston III, an architect who worked for Lustig for a time, and he inscribed his own name at the inside back cover.

I acquired this copy directly from one of Weston's family members. Please review all photos for condition details. The pages are in overall great condition, with minimal signs of age and wear.

The covers have more wear. Wear to the binding at the top. Please reach out with any questions or to request more photos.
