From a smoke free home. Born in Birmingham in 1958, Paul is well-known as a contemporary pastel artist and from a young age he dreamed of being an artist. He attended the Bournville School of Art and on leaving entered the printing industry, but still regularly held exhibitions showcasing his unique artwork to the public. In 1976 he was acknowledge by the artworld when he received a Certificate of Merit from the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.

This gave him the encouragement he needed and ultimately led to him becoming a professional artist. In 1998 he held a retrospective exhibition entitled All in a Lifes Work and then his major breakthrough came in 2001 when Washington Green published his work and launched it to over 200 galleries across the UK.

Shortly after this he began his first tour Homes and Hearts. Since then he has been enjoying great success in the contemporary artworld and his works are now highly sort after by many collectors.
