Muhammad Ali A Thirty Year Journey, H L Bingham, Robson Books, 1993 Hardcover

A particularly collectable copy of Howard L. Bingham's photographic record of Muhammad Ali, signed by both Muhammad Ali and Howard L. Bingham on the original "Best wishes" bookplate. I personally obtained this book in connection with Muhammad Ali's appearance at Waterstones in The Galleries, Bristol, on Tuesday 16 November 1993, during the promotional period for. I attended the event myself and had the privilege of meeting Muhammad Ali and shaking his hand. However, Muhammad Ali's appearance at Waterstones in The Galleries, Bristol on 16 November 1993 is independently documented in contemporary photographic archives. "First published in Great Britain in 1993 by Robson Books Ltd".

This is therefore the original 1993 UK first edition, rather than a later edition or reprint. The bookplate is signed in blue ink by both. No separate certificate of authenticity is included and the signatures have not been independently authenticated.

The book is offered exactly as photographed. A very attractive example with a strong personal connection to Ali's documented Bristol appearance in November 1993.
