Moonage Daydream Bowie signed limited edition fine art Ziggy Alladin Sane photos
Moonage Daydream Bowie signed limited edition fine art book in fourteen different paper qualities including see through acetate pages, trace leaves and featuring a variety of colours, textures and peephole page cut outs. Ziggy / Aladdin Sane photos by Bowie's official photographer through the whole Ziggy period from the man who shot the Seventies and whose other works included the covers of Transformer Lou Reed, Raw Power Iggy and the Stooges, End of the Century the Ramones and many classic shots of Blondie. It also includes photos from the TV special the 1980 Floor Show shot for American TV and still never shown in this country. Also of note is the extensive text by Bowie commenting on the period and some of the photos, being the most detailed look back by him for a person often notorious at that time for not wanting to revisit his past. Your chance here in the 50th anniversary year of Aladdin Sane and the retirement of Ziggy Stardust at Hammersmith Odeon in July 1973 is to own the fine art edition book by limited edition specialists Genesis publications recognised as a masterpiece and the most sought after memento of the period for the serious Bowie collector at what is a very competitive price. It only continues to increase in value every year, as for obvious reasons, the limited edition version can never be repeated with the sad demise of both Bowie and Rock who both signed every copy of the original coffee table book. Beautifully illustrated throughout with the classic colour photos from his innovative glam rock era.
It also comes in its original cloth covered box with a pattern taken from one of his early Ziggy costumes. It has been the pride of my extensive Bowie collection since I bought in 2003.
