Munson spent several months in Russia during WWI building 400 miles of rail from Kem to the Murman coast. This work, which is signed by the author "Sweney Munson 32°, Fort Scott, Kansas, November 19th, 1924, " begins by equating the Papcy with the Antichrist spoken of in scripture, or the counterfeit of Jesus. " The remainder of the work, which is "carefully compiled from Authentic Historical Sources, is presented as a history text book, outlining the evils of the Catholic Church from the Crusades, to papal persecutions, to wars of the inquisition. A large section of the book is devoted to Martin Luther and the beginnings of Protestantism.
