OLIVER EDWARDS' FLY TYER'S MASTERCLASS by Oliver Edwards. 2009 new edition published by the Flyfisher's Classic Library. Large quarto hardback, 246 pages. Colour photographs by Terry Griffiths, line illustrations by the author. Super-deluxe edition limited to 100 copies, signed by the author.

A fly tied by the author is mounted inside the front cover of each copy of this edition. This copy is fully bound in Burgundy leather, all edges gilt, hand-marbled end-papers and raised bands on spine, all presented in a handsome velvet-lined slipcase with rounded top and bottom which shows off the fine binding beautifully. First published in 1994, Flytyer's Masterclass showcases the talents of British fly-tyer Oliver Edwards.

Featuring patterns for the baetis nymph, ephemerella nymph, rhyacophila larva, and Klinkhamer special. For this new edition The Flyfisher's Library has commisioned new photographs by Terry Griffiths which depict each fly in stunning detail.

This edition was launched to great acclaim at the British Fly Fair at Trentham Gardens in November 2009. A handsome, first-quality edition of a useful and important book.
