The book is a very pleasing and beautifully-illustrated work in the style of Lewis Carroll, written for Gibson's daughter Pauline, after he had finished reading her Carroll's original. The first printing of the first edition.

Original red gilt cloth hardback. 7.75 inches by 5 inches. The book is in attractive condition, with bumping and wear, and some fraying and fading (see pictures).
