Printed on Authorized Economy Standard paper which is very tanned and almost orange in colour. In the publisher's original cloth boards, worn and slightly faded. Signed by du Maurier to the front end paper to Peter Unwin with best wishes.. Provenance: two postcards in the volume addressed to Marian from Sacha. Approximately 7 ½ inches tall. Spine - good condition - faded, with black titles and decoration, rubbed and worn to the top and base. Joints - good condition - gently rubbed. Corners - good condition - bumped and worn. Boards - good condition - cloth covered boards, worn and rubbed. Page edges - good condition - tanned and orange, darkened and stained top edge. Hinges - good condition - sound. Paste downs - good condition - tanned.
