1939 New York Advancing Book Signed 1st Edition World's Fair Edition Rare

This is a rare historically significant presentation copy of New York advancing world's fair edition published in 1939. It's autographed & association provenance. This copy is hand signed and inscribed on the interior title page by the legendary New York City Mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia, the hand inscription reads to Culver riceF. Excellent provenance- this book was gifted directly by mayor LaGuardia to Culver Rice who was the son of Dr.

John L Rice, the New York City health commissioner featured inside this very book. The book is in great vintage condition.

The interior sign page is exceptionally clean with bold fountain pen. The outer paper cover shows some light edge wearing and aged toning consistent with this age, but it remain remains fully intact. The binding is fully secure and intact as well. Why is this worth so much the fact that Mayor LaGuardia personally signature instantly raises the rarity, the fact that is subscribed directly to the son of his own health commissioner.
