Up for sale is a 1929 1st Edition/1st Printing copy of "BARBARY BO" by Reginald Kauffman and illustrated by Frank E. This copy has been signed and dated by the illustrator Frank E. Schoonover under his frontispiece illustration.

"Barbary Bo: Passages from the Recollections of Martin Rowntree" by Reginald Wright Kauffman is a historical novel that follows the adventures of Martin Rowntree. The story details how he lost government gold and his attempts to recover it, as well as his experiences serving as a cabin boy. This book is in very good condition. Some rubbing/chipping/shelf wear to the front/rear board panels as well as along the spine panel. Shelf wear/chipping/rubbing to the boards along the edges, corners and at the top/bottom of the spine panel.

Spine panel gilt is faded. The spine and pages are very tight with strong hinges. Text block is tight within the binding. Previous owner's name written on the first free endpaper.
