The book has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!Some general/shelf/age wear along with a noticeable lean, bumping/creases/wear to the spine/corners, marks/stains/scuffing to the cloth boards and marks/stains/wear to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear on the spine, on cloth boards and on the edge/fore pages!
The wear on the spine, on the edge/fore pages and especially the large marks/stains/scuffing/wear to the cloth boards is extensive and VERY clearly visible. The original dust jacket is fully intact but has substantial wear! Some general/shelf/age wear along with creases, chipping, marks and numerous, large rips/tears. Please note the wear on the spine, along the edges, at the corners and on both the front and rear of the jacket.
The area on the inside front flap, the area where "Book Club Edition" was presumably printed, has been cut off. The cutting/removal of that specific area has resulted in some obvious loss of paper. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book.
