At that time I was Sr. Design Manager for the entire Disney/Pixar Cars Line as well so my hands were full. I was the only Designer still employed at Mattel who actually worked on the Original HeMan Line so I guess that's why I was tasked with this project, not sure.

I came up with the black blind embossed & silver printed stamp book sleeve & the parchment inner cover with the ghosted Bill George Oil painting of Battle Bones which I worked on back in the day. In my opinion Bill did the best MOTU art work hands down which is also why I put his Battle Cat image on the cover of the book.
