Boldly SIGNED and Warmly INSCRIBED by the legendary Carl Sagan! This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear but is still in Highly Collectible condition!

The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with bumping/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, indentations/wear along the edges/cloth boards, creases/wear to the pages , toning/discoloration along the edges of the pages and marks/wear to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! As previously mentioned, some of the pages have some wear. There are clearly visible creases/wear to a fair amount of the pages.

While the wear is not terribly egregious, the creases are still very clearly visible on the affected pages and should be carefully examined/considered. Please also note the wear on the cloth boards and the wear to the edge/fore pages!

The original dust jacket is fully intact but has some very clearly visible wear. Some general/shelf wear along with creases, chipping, marks/rubbing and rips/tears. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! A TRUE First American Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present!

The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with numerous creases, chipping rips/tears and marks/rubbing. There is also some toning/age discoloration/marks on the inside of the dust jacket, NOT visible unless the jacket is fully removed but still worth mentioning/considering. In particular, please note the creases/wear on the front cover near the top edge! We took numerous photographs from various angles of this area in an effort to fully show the wear.

The creases/wear is VERY clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear/damage when determining the value of these two rare books.
